Sydney Entertainment Centre

Located in Haymarket , the Sydney Entertainment Centre is a multi-purpose indoor venue. Opened in 1983, it was built on the grounds of the old Sydney Stadium that was demolished and now hosts some huge performances from artists such as Kylie Minogue and Elton John and also acts as a sporting venue and is home to the Sydney Kings, the Sydney basketball team. Just at the south end of the CBD , visitors can come and look around this big venue and take part in many of the big exhibitions that happen throughout the year. Close to the Powerhouse Museum , the Chinese Garden of Friendship and Darling Harbour , the Entertainment Centre is ideally located to explore the other great attractions that surround it.
