Walk into another world in Darling Harbour and explore the only Chinese garden outside of Asia, in Sydneys very own Chinese Garden of Friendship . Built at the time of Sydneys Bicentenary in 1988, it was designed by architects of Sydneys sister city of Guangzhou, China. The beautiful gardens express an array of Chinese heritage and culture and are complemented by the Chinatown close by. The garden is split up into different sections and the peace and tranquillity of the waterfalls, streams and exotic plants is an experience to behold. A place that is a famous wedding venue in Sydney and holds a great backdrop for some perfect pictures. Finish off your peaceful walk through the gardens by enjoying the fine tea of China in the garden Teahouse or for fun you can even dress up in some traditional Chinese clothes and have your picture taken.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a walking distance away from Hyde Park and located on the edge of the CBD . There is cheap entry, so join in the ambience and watch the world go by through this beautiful garden.
