Bronte Beach

One of the favourite beaches in Sydney, Bronte enjoys the best of green parkland and golden sand beach. Beach lovers can chill out with a barbeque party or enjoy a sports event in the hot sun. Sitting on Nelson Bay, Bronte Beach is calmer and more relaxing than the more popular Bondi Beach but still holds some suburb infrastructure with a small beach encased by two headlands, giving it a private feel; an enormous park complete with barbecue huts and shade; and a fantastic strip of trendy cafes and restaurants located around.

Bronte Beach is very family friendly and is a great place to catch some waves, where there is also an important surf culture here. The Bronte Surf Lifesaving Club was founded back in 1903 and claims to be the oldest surf lifesaving club in the world. Well worth the time to get to Bronte, as the water, waves and people are fantastic. And if you feel like enjoying a beautiful scenic walk talk the southern trek along the cliff top paths along to Coogee or North to Tamarama and Bondi Beach Great places nearby are Randwick , Centennial Park, Bondi , Moore Park and Paddington .
