Bankstown Airport
Bankstown Airport is the second busiest airport in Australia and is home to the majority of Sydneys Helicopters and executive jets, as well as the Australian Aviation Museum which brandishes a range vintage aircraft from years gone by ever since 1994. Only a half hour drive from the CBD this busy airport is open 24 hours a day this airport handles 3 runways and those pesky guys from Top Gear Australia that use one of the airports hangers. The Airport is located just outside the lovely small suburb of Bankstown, which boasts its own attributes of being a nice friendly community with its own shopping centre, Centro Bankstown. Also nearby and only a 20 minute drive from the airport is the Sydney Olympic Park .
