Anzac Day is an Australian national day of remembrance held on the 25 April to honour all war veterans. The day has evolved from the landing of Gallipoli and today represents a sense of national identity.

The spirit of Anzac aims to promote courage, mate-ship, and sacrifice. If you are planning on visiting Sydney on Anzac day be sure to catch one of the many war memorial ceremonies, Aboriginal Memorials, or the Dawn service. Many more events are held throughout the day like the Anzac day parade which sees ex-service men marching through the streets of Sydney dressed in full uniform and the sunset ceremony in Martin Place.

As Anzac day falls in early Autumn, the summer temperatures have dropped off and the city enjoys a less crowed atmosphere. This in turn results in great hotel bargains in popular locations. Why not book your April hotel deal now and enjoy all that Sydney has to offer? There are some marvellous hotels that will satisfy your stay in Sydney with places like Hilton Hotel Sydeny , Sir Stamford Circular Quay and Meriton Serviced Apartments - Campbell Street .
